NEWS OF THE WORLD

News of the World took us from one capital city to another / from London to Santa Fe,  New Mexico. 

Sitting at the southernmost end of the Rocky Mountains, surrounded by 1.5 million acres of unspoiled national forest and home to some of the most spectacular scenery we have ever seen. We spent three glorious months filming in big sky country. 

This experience was more impressive as we worked with the remarkable Tom Hanks. The Kiowa, Native American tribe, while we continued our long-standing connection with academy award nominated director Paul Greengrass, who we did BST for on United 93, The Bourne Ultimatum, Green Zone and Jason Bourne. Our 5th collaboration was our first western.

Future Time shot BTS on the movie and handled editorial, which was made more challenging as we did post throughout the pandemic. Our editors worked across two time zones across London and Los Angeles, producing creative content, theatrical, home entertainment, an Academy Awards positioning piece and our first HBO special. 

NOTW was a memorable experience. Not only was it our first western, and it gave us memories of sunsets we will never forget. We handled all the posts and did our first HBO special. It was hugely challenging as we did post in the pandemic. At the same Time, the shoot was the last shooting experience before the pandemic hit.
