Scarpetta (2026) is an 8-part Prime Video thriller based on Patricia Cornwell's novels, following forensic pathologist Dr. Kay Scarpetta (Nicole Kidman) as she returns to her role in Virginia.

The story has dual timelines, flipping between a present-day murder mystery and the late 90s, where a younger Scarpetta (Rosy McEwen) investigated a serial killer, suggesting she may have originally caught the wrong person.
